Breast Revision

BREAST REVISION- SYMMASTIA REPAIR: Symmastia is a condition where the breast implants are too close together towards the midline. The cleavage area is tented as if the tissues in that area are separated from the sternum. This patient underwent symmastia repair, using smaller implants, implant re-positioning with pocket modification, and anchoring the midline tissues down using permanent sutures. Her implants were 550cc silicone, bilaterally and exchanged to 400cc silicone bilaterally for the repair.
